The town of Hluhluwe is under 10km from Umziki Pan, where all food and liquor supplies are available. Alternatively, you can watch Zulu ladies weaving their intricate baskets at Ilala Weavers - where you can buy their handiwork as well as other local souvenirs.

Marine sanctuary and coral reef, as well as scuba-diving mecca - Sodwana Bay is less than 90km from Umziki Pan. Spend the day at the beach and come home to relax in intimate surroundings.

The Hluhluwe and Mkuze Game Reserves are 26 km and 60 km away respectively, where guests can view the wild game's Big Five - elephant, lion, the rare black rhino (as well as its white rhino cousin), leopard and African buffalo.
